I enjoy most outdoor activities such as hiking, biking,
climbing, scrambling, skiing, swimming and running. Often enough I will have
to be content doing some of these (like climbing and swimming) indoors so as
to make it a more regular and enjoyable workout. Yep, even I find 6 degrees
Celsius cold water too cold for longer swimming.
Strenuous exercise outdoors, especially when camping, should
never be done without having fresh baked bread and a gourmet meal to look forward
to, never mind what unusual wilderness setting one calls home that night. That
notwithstanding baking and cooking creatively is also often done at home in the city.
When I am not running around outdoors or working I am likely
to be found doing some painting, reading, writing, paper making, fibre art,
mask making, costuming or sewing.
